24 is a concept drama that presents a season within 24-hours. The story of an elite team comprising CIA agents and headed by a counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer, it uncovers a plot to assassinate the Presidential nominee David Palmer. Jack leads a troubled life and a sudden disappearance of their troubled teenage daughter makes things worse between him and his wife, Teri.
So the story goes on; while season 4 shows Jack been fired and re-recruited for the Secretary of Defense, season 5 shows him living a quiet life in Bakersfield, California. Now he has a new love but a terrorist sniper’s bullet turns everything topsy-turvy once more. Jack cocks his gun and returns to LA; this time, as a deadly, American counter-terrorist agent.

What is the story about?
In the series, Sutherland will be father to an autistic child that has a gift of being able to connect events. Sutherland will be trying to ‘read’ what his son is saying to try and prevent some bad events from coming. This would of course be a challenge on its own as his son has never spoken before.
He will be playing the role of Martin Bohm and his son’s name is Jake. Danny Glover will be playing the role of Professor Arthur Dewitt who would act as Martin’s mentor.
But a lot depends on how the producers want to package it especially with the disability of the boy.
Will it be a success?
The show is the brainchild of Tim Kring who is also the creator of ‘Heroes’ and if ‘Heroes’ is anything to go by, then ‘Touch’ may have an uphill mountain to climb for it to become a real hit. They will all have to bring their ‘A’ to have it stick especially at the very first season.
