Jack Bauer is alive and Kim is more than determined not to let him go. The last 22 hours of 24 has began. President Hassan’s assassination is set. This president is willing to take down his country to peace from the nuclear program. He is intimate with a reporter who has been kidnapped by CTU and charged with being part of the assassination but she denies the relationship.

Brian Hastings who now heads CTU does not like Jack and he fears his CTU veteran. Chloe is trying her best to familiarize herself with the new systems and no one is supporting her with this. Maybe this is the time someone familiar such as Cole, Arlo or Dana{Jenny} would come handy. They are all getting reinforced.

Agent Renee Walker is back but it is obvious Hastings does not like the Bauer Team so he sends them off. This is expected.

24 is back and airs tonight with the assassination plot for the president being the top agenda. The challenges are many for CTU members and it is not clear whether this is because of the learning curve or the new people. It is not so clear also whether the president’s affair with Meredith is the cause but it is certain that there is an enemy who is yet to cause serious security implications. We only hope no nuclear weapons are involved.
