President Omar’s brother informs the terrorists of all the internal happenings. The CTU in the meantime decrypts the laptop of the journalist, who has the keycard of Omar’s residence, and learns the location of the bombs in the UN and orders evacuation.
Meanwhile, Jack succeeds in convincing the NYPD officers that the bomb scare in UN might be a hoax and the terrorists may be planning to bomb Omar’s convoy. He finally asks the CTU officers to stop Omar’s car, which ensues a chase against Omar’s car and saves him from the bomb planted in the manhole.
